Question: I am scheduled to have a cystoscopy in the upcoming week. I have a smaller penis and was wondering if this would pose a problem in the procedure. Thanks for any input

Brief Answer:
penis size not an issues during cystoscopy

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

You are concerned that the cystoscopy that you are scheduled for this week will be impacted on your penis size. The answer is no. The size of the penis means very little during the procedure. The only thing that will make a difference is the diameter of the opening called the meatus. That will determine the size of the scope they use during the cystoscopy. You have nothing to be concerned about.
