Does Sudden Stopping Of 10mg Of Methadone Cause Any Withdrawal Symptoms?
Question: 10 mg methadone a day for about 25 to 30 days. my question will a person have withdrawal symptoms only taken 10 mg methadone a day and then stop after 25 to 30 day?

Methadone treatment must be planned individually and it depends on addiction history, age, pyschological status. But generally it is not recommended to stop methadon suddenly. dosage must be reduced gradually- So if it is stopped after 30 days,withdrawal syndrome would probably be significant even if only 10mg is used. it would be for example better option to reduce dosage for 10mg each week,so after 7-8 weeks it could be stopped complretely. wish you good health.
