Brief Answer:
alongwith medicine dietary restriction should be followed

Detailed Answer:
Dear
Thanks for contacting Ayurveda with your health concern and your questionnaire is summarised as follow:

1. The ingredient present in vinegar (acetic acid) is mainly responsible for breaking uric acid crystals thus reducing inflammation/ swelling in the joints and preventing attack of gout.

PS. talk with your doctor regarding the use of the same, and if allergic to apples you can soak your feet in hot water containing apple cider vinegar.

Dose: 2-3 tablespoon thrice daily, and buy organic and non pasteurised and check for acetic acid content.

2. Avoid: horse gram, peas, black gram, radish, curd, mushroom, spinach, turnip, heavy/sour/bitter food, day time sleeping, excess physical exertion, sesame, meat, alcohol

Take: old brown rice,green gram,white gourd,dried ginger,cumin seeds, lukewarm water,black pepper,bottle gourd,lady finger, carrot,elephant yam,sweet potato.
