Does High Dosage Of Vyvanse Lead To Difficulty In Sleeping?

default
Posted on Wed, 23 Dec 2015
Question: What are the different dosages of Vyvanse? I am on 70 and it really helps me stay alert and focused, but I have a hard time getting to sleep if I take it two days in a row.
I'm wondering if my dosage is too high.

Brief Answer:
The dose you are taking is high dose.

Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries

I can understand your concern. Vyvanse is an amphetamine drug which is classified under stimulants. The drug is available in 10-70 mg lisdexamfetamine capsules form. You are 65 and are on 70 mg of dose which in my opinion is high and is probably cause of your reduced sleep or difficulty in going to sleep. So please try to reduce the dose of the drug or avoid taking it regularly.

Thanks, Hope this helps you. Please don't hesitate to ask again for more doubts.

Take care
