Question: I heard that hearing loss or slight loss causes death

1. Slight hearing loss (Presbyacusis) is common after the age of 40-50 years (just like the deterioration of near vision).

2. Hearing loss does not lead to death.

3. Get an ear examination and a PTA (Pure Tone Audiometry) done. Upload the results here.
