Question: Does diverticulitis send aching pain down both legs? Also have pain in my left & right side of my abdomen with severe pain at times.

I have gone through your query and would try to help you in the best possible way. Usually it does not sends pain to legs but it does cause generalized abdominal pain. Treatment of diverticulitis includes clear liquid diet followed by 7-10 days antibiotic therapy which includes metronidazole thrice a day.
I would suggest you to once visit hospital & get an appointment for a general surgeon to discuss this as well
