Brief Answer:
Dementia related to elevated blood glucose.

Detailed Answer:
A few studies have raised the possibility of a link between the blood sugar levels in the blood and dementia. Research has shown that with higher blood glucose values, the risk of dementia also increases.
It is not necessary to reach the blood sugar levels of diabetes but certain tests of dementia like recalling list of words show impairment even in prediabetes.
More studies are required before it becomes a universally accepted entity.
