Question: hi doctor I have a question regarding my 2years 7 months kid today he ate Dambur goli(which will be white shape and round) means to avoid insects for cloths which we put in treasure

Brief Answer: Hi Detailed Answer: Hi Sorry for the late reply. Your baby needs to be evaluated by a physician. He needs to vomit out the goli. Otherwise the physician will do gastric lavage and take the goli out. Lavage will not be effective if more than 2 hours have passed but it should still be considered. Acute exposure to naphthalene can cause adverse effects such as nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, diarhoea, headache, confusion, sweating, fever, increased heart beat and agitation which may lead to convulsions and coma. Please go to emergency room. Take care
