Eliquis is an anticoagulant and has direct interaction with saw palmetto.Trials have showed that When used in combination with an anticoagulant or antiplatelet drug saw palmetto extract can increase the risk of bleeding by enhancing the anticoagulation or antiplatelet effects.
Therefore its not advicable to take them together.
However in case they are taken together
Platelet count
PT/INR test should be done every week.
