Brief Answer:
Yes it is usually safe but please consult your doctor first.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for your query.
I'm Dr. Shuba Hariprasad and will be answering your query today.

It is safe to take antifungals (including nystatin) while on treatment for CLL. However this should be initiated only after being examined and advised by your treating doctor.

Certain factors need to be checked before starting a medication :
-if it is the right medication for your problem.
-if your body will tolerate it.
-any prior allergies.
-proper dosing and adequate period of treatment is necessary to ensure complete cure to prevent resistant infections.
-please check for allergies over a small area on your inner arm before applying else where. Wait for 24 hours to see for any redness, itching or swelling.

# for what purpose are you considering the use of nystatin? Oral or topical use?
# have you used it before? What other medications have you used?
# have you had any recent blood tests?

I recommend that you consult your treating doctor to identify the cause and the best mode of treatment and proper administration

Hope this helps.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
Wish you good health.
Regards,
Dr. Shuba Hariprasad
