Does Azithromycin Help Cure Blood In Urine?

Question: I am being treated for blood clots in my urine with a z-pak 2-500 1st day and 1 500 for 5 more days, will this stop the blood clots ?

The use of the z pak antibiotics implies that your doctors believe that the clots are due to the presence of an infection in some aspect of the urinary tract.
The urinary tract includes the bladder, ureter, urethra, prostate and kidneys.

If the clots/bleeding is solely due to infection, then there should be relief with the antibiotics

Some of the other causes include:(1) presence of stones
(2)trauma
(3)enlargement of the prostate
(4)bleeding disorder
(5)side effect of medication such as NSAIDs (ibuprofen, cataflam, naproxen)
(6)kidney disease

If it has not already been done, imaging to take a look at the urinary tract should be done with ultrasound or CT
