Question: Dear Sir,
My name is jayanth. I’m 37 old living in USA. I’m originally from XXXXXXX On Dec 27th when I was bathing i was masturbating on standing position. At that time I got sudden pain at my left back neck area.( my head position was in cross position and stiff when I got pain).
Then after ejaculation my left leg and left arm became like numbness, weakness, some pain.
Next day I went to emergency department. They did ECG, CT brain, MRI brain,MRI SPINAL and neck.
They said nothing serious but just some degeneration in spinal.
They said to consult neurologist for further follow up. After talking to neurologist she did some physical examine to test my legs and arms and said they are not so bad.
She said she will give some steroid to decrease inflammation. If still there is problem after 2 weeks she said she do nerve test.
But from 27 December I’m worried a lot because I feel my left leg and hand weakness, some muscle pains, very tired, some times back pain and left side neck pain. I still have the same problem.
From yesterday my right thigh muscle also slowly feeling pain.
I’m worried what is wrong? Will it be a permanent nerve problem.?
Note: before day I took some heavy alcohol and had less sleep. I normally take beer but that day took whiskey.
Also my Vitamin B12 was 139 mcg after problem and blood test.

Brief Answer:
The problem will resolve with proper medical treatment.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for posting your query.

Based on the symptoms, it seems to be a case of mildly pinched nerve in the back, which is leading to these symptoms. Usual treatment is medicines such as pregabalin and physical therapy. In some cases, if pain continues, epidural steroid injections are given.

I am sure you will become better with treatment. There is no need to worry.

Best wishes,
