Child Having Stomach Pain And Noticed Mucus In Stool. Looking For Solution

Question: 2 year old daughter, stool that is:
-Dark XXXXXXX exterior
-Dull Brown interior
-Fluffy White on the surface while in water
-Translucent Mucus on the surface out of the water
-Formed but quite Crumbly
-Formed from several smaller clumps
-Always sinks
-Normal smell
-Doesn't really complain of stomach pain
-Says "My tummy hurts" and then goes to poop -- she doesn't complain afterward

The symptoms you have mentioned are suggestive of colitis.

But looking at the picture, it appears that the stool is well formed and does not seem to be that due to colitis.

It looks pale on the exterior.

The most likely reason could be the diet she has taken.
A stool test may be done for evaluation.
