Question: During an routine D.C. My gyno perforated my uterus while trying to dilate. Done Wed. I was kept overnight. All went well so sent home but then Thurs. afternoon I had some discharge of bright red bleeding. Then no bleeding for two days and today I had some pinkish discharge. Is this normal?? Brief Answer:
slight spotting for 5-7 days

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand the concerns.
Slight blood discharge or spotting can continue for 5-7 days after the procedure.
If the bleeding is very heavy, or there is foul smelling discharge , fever or pain abdomen, then it is not normal and you should consult your OBGYN for proper examination and treatment accordingly.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
