Brief Answer:
i-pill does not damage ovaries.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to HCM.
I understand your concerns.

The bleeding which you are having after 5-6 days of taking i-pill is usually seen in anyone who takes the drug.
This is the withdrawal bleeding which occurs due to hormonal content of i-pill.
This indicates that the drug has worked.

The i-pill has side-effects, the common ones being bloating, cramps, headache and irregular periods for 2-3 cycles.
But there are no long-term side-effects.

It does not damage ovaries and will not complicate your PCOD.

It also does not affect chances of future pregnancy but I would not advise you to take it frequently. Rather practice other safer contraceptive methods like using a condom or coitus interruptus.

If the heavy bleeding persists, kindly consult your local gynecologist.

Hope this helps.
Feel free to ask further.
Thanks.
