Question: Hi.
When ever i smell strong odour/perfume my eyes start watering also when i have something cold my throat starts itching. For this doctor had suggested Montair LC which was fine. But recently i foundout that i am diabetic and once i have montair LC the blood sugar levels shoot up.

Kindly suggest alternate medice for the Allergy issue of mine.
Thanks

Brief Answer:
There is no such connection between montair LC and rise in diabetes.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Honestly speaking, there is no such connection between montair LC and rise in blood sugar level.
But if you change your allergy medicine then change to montair FX (montelukast plus fexofenadine).
It is to be taken at night time before going to bed.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
