Brief Answer:
Yes, It can cause a burning or a sore

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,
I have gone through your query; it suggests that you may be suffering from the mild oral mucosal damage and it may be responsible for burning or a sore mouth.

In this condition I personally advised take the tablet by plenty of water and or antacid if needed or stopped it.

For your kind information aspirin (acetyl salicylic acid) is the non steroidal anti-inflammatory drug and its major side effect is mucosal erosion in the gastrointestinal tract from mouth to anus.

Thanks
