Can I Take Aspirin Along With Oxycodone?

default
Posted on Thu, 31 Jul 2014
Question: I am legally disabled. I take oxycodone and morphine sulfate for pain. Will taking an aspirin interact badly with either one of those drugs?
I am asking about the aspirin because I am having chest pains off and on. and off and on pain in my left shoulder blade and left side of my neck. I am a single mother of a four year old, so I cant leave him until my nanny comes at 10am tomorrow. Plus when I called my mother she told me that it was probably gas. So if I am farting is it possible that my chest pain is because of that. obviously I am freaking out a little...

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the query.
Yes.it can be taken together, but if this pain is caused by angina pectoris then aspirine may not help and you ll need nitrolingual or similar medicines so it would be smart.to vsit doctor for it since these are symptoms of ischemic heart disease. Of.course, much common this is caised bygas or stomach issues but you need to be cautious and if pain progresses,go to hospital. Wish you good health. Feel free to ask. Regards
