Brief Answer:
possible cause

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome to HCM.

Pain under shoulder blade, especially under right one is possible sign of gallbladder stone due to referred pain from the irritation of phrenic nerve. However, you should have some degree of abdominal difficulties to confirm the diagnosis and it includes pain under the right upper quadrant, nausea, vomit. It would be best to do abdominal ultrasound to check this out. Other causes include shoulder arthritis, angina pectoris, or posterior pneumonia so it this is related to breathing then lung xrays should be done. Wish you good health. Regards

I have been having pain in my left arm for about 3 weeks and it gets worse at night. I cannot sleep because the pain is so bad. I put ice on my arm and get some relief but it still hurts. I had shoulder surgery for frozen shoulder in October but my orthopedic doctor doesn't think that is causing all my pain.
My pain starts just below my shoulder and goes all the way to my wrist. Pain meds so not stop the pain.

yes, I have had both shoulders replaced, the right one is a partial, I found out that the socket part of my bone is worn down by about 1/4" all the way around . it is causing me more pain now than before I had the surgery. I was told that would have to have a bone graft done before it could be completely replaced. I have not found it easy to find a Dr. that does the surgery or one that I can ask questions and I don't want to do anything that would cause me more pain. Can you possibly help me. My email address is YYYY@YYYY . Thank you for your time
