Question: How does The antidepressant Fetzima compare to Effexor? What are the benefits of switching from Effexor to Fetzima?

Brief Answer: fetzima is more suitable for you Detailed Answer: hello Drug fetzima is more suitable for you as you are already hypertensive and have pre diabetic blood sugar levels. Both of these can be increased or made worse by effexor ( venalafaxine). Fetzima is a relatively milder but almost as efective as effexor. Fetzima dosent pose much burden on liver and is excreted via kidney. The doase is twice daily while venalafaxine can be given in once daily preparation also.
