Brief Answer:
Wait for next period due date.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us.

1st sexual encounter on 10th Oct was EXTREMELY SAFE. You can't be pregnant on that particular day.

2nd sexual encounter occurred on 17th Oct, close to your fertile period without protection. However, you took Postinor-2 as emergency pill. It will give more than 95% protection against unwanted pregnancy. Here, chance of pregnancy is EXTREMELY LOW.

Most women get their withdrawal bleeding within 7-10 days after taking the pill. If you don't get it till now, I suggest you to await for upcoming period date (5th Nov). One home pregnancy test is suggested if you miss your period date.

Hope, it helps for your information. Kindly, close the discussion if you don't have any other query.

Wish your good health and practice safe sex in future.

Regards,
Dr S Patra

Brief Answer:
Details are given below.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for follow up query.

I suggest you to await for next coming period date (up to 5th November) and do one home pregnancy test to clear doubt if you miss your period.

Hormonal imbalance, mental stress or anxiety, pelvic or vaginal infection can lead to above clinical features.

Take healthy balanced diet with fruits and vegetables, drink more water, keep bowel habit regular, maintain genital hygiene and take adequate bed rest.

Hope, I have answered your query. Kindly, close the discussion.

All the best and good luck.

Regards,
Dr S patra
