Can Genetic Issues Cause Severe Hair Loss?
Question: Hi.. I am XXXX, 25 Years male. I have been noticing hair fall from past few months, so I consulted a dermatologist recently, he suggested me to apply Hair 4u F 5% lotion.
Following are my questions:
1. My doctor asked me few questions about my eating habits and stress level, noticing everything normal he told that I have a hereditary problem, but my dad started losing his hair after 50, I am just 25. So how can one be sure that the hairfall is because of your genes or the problem is something else?
2. If I apply Hair 4u lotion for a long time and it stops or reduces my hair fall, whatever the case may be in future, will the hair fall be worse once I stop using it?
3. Can home remedies be helpful (Example: Onion paste, fenugreek paste, etc.) and can they be used while one is using Hair 4u lotion, like if I apply onion paste and then shampoo my hair and then apply lotoin, will that create a problem in any way?
4. I used to apply coconut hair oil everyday before consulting my doctor, but he asked me to stop using it, from the time I stopped using hair oil dandruff is out of control, why is that happening and can dandruff be the real reason for hairfall and what can I do to remove it?

Let me answer them in order :

Your question itself has the answer for this, i.e. "noticing everything normal", as your Doctor has correctly asked all the histories, evaluated you clinically then put forward his opinion, stating the Genetic problem. It's true that hairloss almost invariably has a genetical predisposition, and must be suspected when no other cause for hair-loss is found..
2. No one can predict what will happen in future XXXXXXX please try to understand that. But let me assure you that till date, Hair 4u is one of the best available lotion in the market and it's side effects are really negligible, so don't worry. Remember taking too much stress at this point will make you nothing but more prone to hair-loss..
3. I'd not advice this, however you can discuss with an Ayurveda specialist as there's still no clinical trial/study happened in between these ingredients..
4. Yes, coconut oil must be stopped before applying this. You can apply Sebowash Shampoo during bathing, it'll take care of the dandruff problem. Dandruff has to be treated as it can certainly cause hair fall. Please discuss this with your treating Doctor as he has be informed regarding this dandruff problem..
More over don't worry so much, be happy and trust your treating doctor's advice, you'll be fine within a matter of time only..
