Brief Answer:
Considerations

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for the query.

Dipping should not have any significant effect on the size of your thyroid gland.

If you feel your thyroid gland is enlarged it would be a good idea to visit with your primary care doctor for a focused consultation and physical examination.

Certain thyroid disorders could cause swelling or enlargement of the thyroid. if your doctor feels it is necessary - he may order lab tests or an ultrasound of the thyroid for further assessment.

Thank you again for sending the query.

Sincerely,
