default
Posted on Thu, 7 Sep 2017
Question: In my mouth I have had a painful protuberance on the gum of my lower rear molar. It has been there for more than three weeks. Gargling with salt water hasn't helped. I noticed it for the first time when I was traveling in Vietnam.

I had all of the wisdom teeth removed at age 18. The bump is firm when I press on it and doesn't seem to move, but I don't not feel a solid/bony surface where the white dot is. I haven't noticed any discharge.

Looks like infection..

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
It looks like Infection..
Take a course of antibiotics and anti inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen after consulting a Physician or an Emergency Room
Do antiseptic mouthwash gargles..

If after 5 days also you do not find d improvement then an x ray should be done..

Hope this helps..
