Can A Broken Ankle Cause Numb Feet?
Question: i broke my ankle very very badly about 8 months ago.i wore one of those big grey boots for around 6 months.i have no feeling at all from my ankle down to my toes. it is totaly numb.is that normal well it get feeling or is some thing drasticly wrong.

The numbness of the foot is not normal and can happen due to a nerve injury or compression at the level of lumbar spine diabetes or low levels of vitamin B12. Firstly, I’ll request you to get your blood sugar/HbA1c (glycated hemoglobin) tested to rule out Diabetes mellitus. Also get your thyroid hormones levels evaluated. You can take some vit B12 for some days and see if the symptoms improve.
