Posted on Tue, 16 Jun 2015
Question: I don't have any questions. I am doing okay. My psychiatrist told me to take one Xanax twice a day , if needed, for anxiety. So far, I have only had to do that once in the last two weeks.

Brief Answer:
Using it rarely is better for you

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

you've done well to avoid overusing it because frequent use will make it less effective for you and may make you physically and/or psychologically dependent on it. Benzodiazepines like Xanax are addictive, so you shouldn't use unless absolutely necessary.

Kind Regards!
