Question: Hi! I had 1-2 glasses of wine about 6 hrs ago. I get waves of anxiety when I am stressed or tired! I have a prescription of .25 xanax, is waiting 6 hrs enough time before taking it?

Brief Answer:
Yes, 6 hours is enough, you may take the medicine.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome to healthcaremagic, I have read your query and understand your concern.

Do not worry, you can now take Xanax 0.25 safely.

6 hours is enough time to eliminate most of the 2 glasses of wine you consumed so it is unlikely to cause any interaction with Xanax.

Drink adequate amounts of water and you should be just fine.

I hope this answers your question, please feel free to write back to me if you have any additional concerns.

Wishing you good health.

Best regards
