Can STD Be Transmitted Through Body Massage?
Question: Is it a risk to contract an illness when being given a body massage including anus, testicles and penis ? Can a virus or bacteria be transmitted by oil or hands ?

It depends upon the safety measures adapted by the massage institute. The possibility of transmission of skin infections and other non venereal bacterial or viral contagious infection could not be ruled out unless they adapt a strict and stringent precautionary measures. Wearing fresh gloves for each clients, changing the sheets over the couch, bowel containing oil, changing towels will ensure the safety from any infection transmission. Otherwise there is a possibility of risk in getting bacterial, fungal or viral infections.

They can not live outside the body fluids for not more than few seconds and moreover many organisms can not withstand dryness, outside temperature, atmospheric oxygen and soap water or any antiseptic wash. So the transmission through massage or through oil is quite unlikely and remote. No other serious conditions can occur except that few skin conditions that too, can be treated easily by a dermatologist.
