Question: I have a stopped up nose and sinus head acke; I take a Beta Blocker and cholesterol lowering medicine and am 73 years old...can I take an over the counter Nose spray like Nasacort or
Flonase?

Hi and thanks for the query,

If your blood pressure is well controlled, I would be OK to use Flonase for a short while (less than two weks) while properly monitoring your blood pressure. If it falls too low, you would to gradually stop the drug. Taking it for a short while being cautious of any side effects or unusual feeling is ok.
