Question: I am suffering from chicken Pox since 27th February, 2016. My whole is body is covered with million of pox vesicles. I was out of station on first few days and came back to my home on 1st march. Since then, i am takings pills named ampilox(3 times a day), ibugesic(2 times a day). After that, many of them started turning blackish in colour and drying away. From the last two days(3rd march) I have started using calamine lotion. Black Dry vesicles started getting watery and bumpier again. But those are black as they were. other vesicles are looking like taking blackish pus. Should i continue with calamine lotion or not? Suggest me any other medicines as to cure it within next seven days.

Brief Answer:
Continue calamine

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
I am Dr.R.K and I am pleased to assist you.

Chickenpox is a self limiting condition.
All the symptoms will resolve in a week's time.

Do not scratch as scratching only leads to secondary bacterial infection and scaring.

Just continue calamine and other medications prescribed.

Let me know if you have any more questions.
Regards,
Dr.R.K.
