default
Posted on Tue, 30 Aug 2016
Question: Hello. I am a male, 36 years old. I was in Las Vegas and had sex with a prostitute, i used a condom , which she had with her. I kissed her a few times first. She then placed the condom on me, then she put her mouth on my penis with the condom still on and proceeded to give me oral. After a few minutes she proceeded to go on top of me, and we began to have sex. after a minute i told her to get off, i did not come inside her, i asked she use her hands for a hand job. Needless to say i ejacualted, the condom did not break. I asked her before hand if she had any STDS, twice she said no, and she added she gets tested once per week. Ihave been worried since then about getting any STDS. We used a condom, she gave me oral with the condom on, she was ridding me with the condom on, and she gave me a handjob with the condom on. As i said earlier, i am worred about the possibility of getting HIV or STDS. Should i get tested right away or how long do i wait? What should i look for? please help, this happened two days ago and I am worried sick.

Brief Answer:
There is almost nil possibility of STDs

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.

I read your query and understand your concerns.
First of all I like to congratulate you for observing safer sex methods by using condom and simple wash procedure after contact with commercial sex worker.

Secondly I feel there is no risk as all due procedure to have sex sex was observed and I do not think you need to get tested.

In case you decide to get tested please test immediately and repeat them after three months as tests do take time to become positive.

Most of the patients remain asymptomatic and there are no immediate sighs or symptoms of HIV during the first two weeks. Few of the patients develop flu like symptoms between second and fourth week and I think you can look for them during that period.

I hope this answers your question.
If you have more questions feel free to write back to me.
Thanks and regards.
