Brief Answer:
Very less chance of getting HIV infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Welcome to health care magic.

I have read all your question and will give you the answer.

First of all, I would like to tell you that HIV infection occurs only when mucosa linings in the anal canal or rectum or vagina, penis , mouth come in direct contact with blood or bodily fluids such as semen, vaginal fluid and rectal fluid that can contain HIV virus.

Here in your case, you broke the condom during the act, so it might happen that your penis skin was exposed to rectal fluid during that anal intercourse for a while but if there was no cut or scratch or even bruise on your penile skin then you need not to worry about HIV infection as if that rectal fluid contain HIV virus,it can not get enter in your body skin by any means.

So, I think there is very less chance of getting HIV or (even any other STDs) in this scenario.

Therefore, do not bother and be rested.

After 4 weeks of exposure, your mild fever with mouth sores and night sweats are unlikely to be related to Acute retro-viral infection.

They might be due to some other infection (other than HIV or STDs) and has already been subsided as stated by you.

However, you may go for HIV 1 & 2 antibody testing to clear any doubt or very thin possibility of retroviral infection.

Hope this will help you and if you have any doubt then you can ask me at any time.

Regards,

Dr.Sandip Kabra
