Question: I am currently taking doxycyc mono 100 mg to treat bronchitis and cough. Brief Answer:
can occur as a side effect of doxycycline

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Doxycycline can cause diarrhea in up to 6% ( 6 out of 100) of persons using it , this means that it may be the cause of your symptoms.
Acute diarrhea can also occur as a result of viral or bacterial infection, this generally lasts less than a week in most persons and it is treated mostly with fluid replacement.

You may want to consider holding off all solid food till there is a 4 hour window with no loose stool/diarrhea. When this occurs, you can consider starting a small amount of dry food
Probiotics would also help. If it very bothersome then pepto bismol or lomotil can be used.

Fever occurs as part of the body's inflammatory response and it can therefore occur with any source of inflammation (infection, allergy, trauma etc).
The fever should resolve when the diarrhea resolves.

I hope this helps , feel free to ask any other questions
