All medications have potential side effects, these are effects that may or may not occur.

Diethylpropion can cause urinary side effects but the effects reported are dysuria (discomfort on urination ) and polyuria (passage of more than normal urine).

It is not known to cause weak urinary stream and incomplete voiding though persons may react differently to medication.

If you are experiencing these symptoms only after starting this medication then you can speak to your doctor about discontinuing if the symptoms are intolerable.
