Question: I am on social security disability and have a mental disorder with health issues surrounding high blood pressure and diabetes type II (managed with diet and exercise, shoes and compression stockings). I am not sexually active but have a question for you.
Which one of the medicines I can NOT take while being pregnant? Benztropine, Abilify, Xanax, Citalopram, hydrochlrotiazide, amlodopine, one a day vitamins, and b12
Thank You
P.S. How much does it cost to have infertilization? I am still on my menstrual cycles.

Brief Answer:
Most of these drugs are avoided during pregnancy.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
During pregnancy it is best if you can avoid all the medicines that you have mentioned. All these are pregnancy category C and D drugs. These are given only if they are absolutely necessary. You can take vitamins and B 12 during pregnancy. The cost of in vitro fertilisation varies from place to place. You need to consult a local infertility specialist regarding this.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
