Can Avil Be Taken For Skin Rashes?

Posted on Tue, 15 Sep 2015
Question: Hi, I have acute ulticaria since the past two days. I have skin rashes (hives?) around my neck and jaw areas. Allegra has not helped. I have previously used avil to get rid of such rashes. Is avil better than allegra in curing skin rashes? I have lots of itching and my skin is hypersensitive.

Brief Answer:
Avil is more potent than allegra in skin rashes

Detailed Answer:
Hello
I share your concern
You might require Avil with steroid like hydrocortisone if it doesn't subside with allegra
However if you can provide me more information I will be able to guide you better like
Are you having itching?
Are you having breathing difficulties?
If possible upload me a photograph.

Other than Avil tablet you can apply calamine or lactocalamine lotion or powder
You should identify the trigger and avoid further exposure and be careful for the future.
