Brief Answer:
No Need.

Detailed Answer:
HI

Greetings from Dr.Divakara.P

See you have a problem in thyroid ( i suppose its Hypothyroidism as you have not mentioned what Thyroid medicine )

In this condition the abnormality is less production of Thyroid hormones and your thyroid medications will supplement that. That's all it's required . No other supplement is required.

Moreover the benefits of Actalin has not been proved , so no need to take it .

Hope this information was useful to you.
Any clarifications feel free to ask .

Regards.

Hi there,

I take synthroid and cytomel. My family has a history of thyroid problems, my Mom has Hasimoto disease and takes 150mg of Synthroid. Not sure what else.

I was just wondering if taking additional supplements like Actalin or Iodine would help. I wanted to make sure it wouldn't interrupt the effects of my daily medicine.

Thanks,
XXXX

It wouldn't interrupt.

Detailed Answer:
HI

Thanks for the information.

Taking Actalin will not harm you or the treatment that you are taking . But my point is there is no need for that. If in case you decide to take it you need continue Synthroid and Cytomel also.

Hope this information was useful to you.
