Brief Answer:
window period is 3 months

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

This test has a window period of 3 months. This is a test that looks for HIV antibodies.
Antibodies are formed in the body in reaction to the virus in the system.

If the HIV virus is present then the body makes these chemicals, antibodies.
These antibodies are then picked up by this test.

This is accurate at the 3 month mark.

If the test has been done at this time then it would give you an accurate and true result.

Night sweats and neck pain do not only occur with HIV but can occur with other illnesses as well.
Night sweats can occur with other infections, thyroid disease, side effect of medication, anxiety, blood disorders, some heart disease, TB.
These are some of the other causes

Neck pain can be due to some type of trauma, spasm/tightening of the muscles in the neck, tension, arthritis in the cervical spine

Since your HIV test is truly negative, you can consider seeing your doctor to find out the actual cause of your symptoms

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions

Brief Answer:
if unsure, though window period 3 mths, can do another

Detailed Answer:
HI

Lymph nodes are present in different sites, we check for enlargement by feeling for them- the neck, the groin, the elbow area , the axilla
If your doctor confirms that they are enlarged , you would need a full blood count to check your white cell count

White tongue can be due to yeast infection of the tongue, this can occur with HIV or due to other causes as well.
Treated with oral anti fungal medication, your doctor can prescribe one for you.

The medical info for oraquik states the window period is three months but if you doubt the test result, you can repeat again or do another test with a shorter window period.
There are tests with window periods of 2 to 4 weeks

Please feel free to ask anything else

The test has a clear window period of three months which passed before you checked your status.
