Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome on HCM!

Regarding your concern, I would like to explain that it is true that earlobe crease correlates with a higher probability of more early coronary artery disease.

But, this is true, because earlobe crease is highly associated with important coronary risk factors like diabetes, hypertension, overweight and obesity, dyslipidemia, etc.

In fact you don´t seem to have such a prominent earlobe crease.

So, in your case the most important and challenging issue is to properly control the already known coronary risk factors like diabetes which may seriously harm your heart), and potential others like dyslipidemia, hypertension, overweight, close smoking contacts, etc.

Following a healthy life style and diet is the most important clue in this regard.

So, nothing to worry too much about earlobe crease, but the real coronary risk factors that are around.

Hope to have been helpful to you!

In case of any further questions, feel free to ask me again.

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
