Are Dizziness And Lack Of Energy Side Effects Of I-pill?

Question: Hi we had unprotected sex and after that my gf took ipill in 15 hours of intercourse. We had intercourse on 23rd May afternoon. And she took ipill on 24th morning around 7.15Am. After taking ipill we just enjoyed normal ejaculation but never allowed anything to flow inside anytime. Now she got normal bleeding started as per her cycle i.e on 1st XXXXXXX evening. Now that bleeding is stopped and she basically feels very much tired very early everyday and even sometimes has some giddyness. Is this a symptom of pregnancy or its side effect of ipill ? Please help asap.

Hi XXXXXXX I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. I pill is 95% efficacious in preventing pregnancy if taken within24 hours of unprotected intercourse.Moreover, if she had her periods on the expected date, then chances of pregnancy are almost negligible.
Tiredness and giddiness are very non specific symptoms which can be due to pregnancy or can be due to any other physical illness or stress.I pill do not cause such symptoms after so many days of its intake.
I would suggest her to get a urine pregnancy test done to be sure, and if negative then she should consult a physician for these symptoms.

Hi,
Thanks for your response. She got brown or coffee color discharge in her menstrual cycle which ended just for 1.5-2 days. Also, she didnt get any pain during her cycles. On one the post on this site I read something about withdrawal bleeding which happens after consumption of ipill. So this discharge was that withdrawal bleeding or it was normal periods. She usually gets Brown discharge only in her cycles always. Is it normal or anything to be concerned about.? Are there any chances of pregnancy after this 2 days of withdrawal bleeding or whatever kind of bleeding she got? Waiting for your response.

Hi XXXXXXX thanks for responding. Brown discharge during menstruation can be normal after I pill intake. However, it can also be present if one is pregnant, as first trimester bleeding.
I would suggest her to get a urine pregnancy test to be sure.
