Are Naltrexone And Campral Effective In Preventing Relapse In Alcohol Dependence?
Question: This question should be answered by a psychiatrist please. I am an alcoholic and went to rehab in patient about three years ago they had put me on naltrexone and when I got out it didn't really work for me but it did work for other people. Anyway I have heard that I could take Campral plus naltrexone and I may have a lot better results with it? Is it safe to do this? I am also on citalopram hydrobromide

The combination of naltrexone and Campral is indeed very effective for treatment of alcoholism. Along with the other medications mentioned, all of these medications are safe to take in combination. I'd also encourage involvement with AA if you are not already involved.
