Hi,

Engine oil is an hydrocarbon derivative but less toxic amongst.

Need not worry there is no risk for life but the oil has to removed from the stomach completely. The vomitus has helped you in removing it partly but a good gastric lavage (Stomach wash) is essential.

Do visit the Emergency room for the gastric wash.

The oil is poorly absorbed and do not produce any serious systemic symptoms but can cause gastric upset leading to vomiting, pain abdomen and diarrhoea.Symptomatic treatment will suffice.

I suggest you to urgently visit the hospital for gastric washing.

Wish you good health.

I would like to read from you soon.
