Question: A month back I had a protected oral sex from an escort. In the process I licked her anal for few mins ( XXXXXXX 2 mins unprotected ) and I might have accidentally Licked on her vagina( unprotected ). I am now very concerned whether I would catch any serious STD via this action. She looked very clean and her private regions are clean as well no rash or visible lesions or sores.

For th past two weeks I am having pain in my throat ( in the larynx area , no fever , no cough ) I do weight lifting by placing the bar near my neck. The pain started two days after my last lift so I don’t know whether I had hurt myself or it’s an STD. Two days back I started experiencing a dull pain in my testicles( it’s on and off not regular). I don’t have any pus or burning sensation while urinating.

I am very paranoid. I know that my chances of getting HIV is low but Could you please advise me what are my chances of getting other STD and should I have to be get tested.

I am so worried please help. Kindly assess the odds of me getting an STD and via this action and advise my best steps. I am very scared that I would pass something serious to my wife, the very though is killing me.

Brief Answer:
There may exist the risk to get some STD even without symptoms.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

You should know that having unprotected oral sex may exist the risk to get some STD even if your partner has no symptoms, like gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis, HPV or HSV.

You shouldn't worry about HIV because there is a little to no risk to get HIV in this situation.

Furthermore, regarding your recent symptoms, I think this could be just from weight lifting but to be certain I'd suggest getting tested for gonorrhea, chlamydia, and syphilis.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if l can assist you further.
Thanks.

Hi Doctor,

I am getting mixed replies. Please correct my understanding gronerra is not asymptotic, so if I had it I would have got the symptoms which is painful Urination by this time( already 1 month) ? Chamadiya doesnt affect the mouth ? Since I mentioned that she didn’t have any visible lesions or sink rashes you suggested ne to not to worry about syphillis( the post few weeks back ) . I understand HSV is a risk but I wanted to know how HSV2 affect the mouth ? Please advise.

you can have the risk to get a pharingeal infection of chlamydia and gonorr

Hello,

You should know that after an oral sex you can have the risk to get a pharingeal infection of chlamydia and gonorrhea.
Usually, people with chlamydia and gonorrhea infection may have symptoms but some men with gonorrhea or chlamydia may have no symptoms at all.
Related to syphilis , it is true that if she has not vision skin elements or skin rashes you shouldn't worry about syphilis transmmision.
