I have been diagnoised with Pityriasis rosea. However, its getting worse. Its been 3 weeks and the itchyness is terrible.
Hello, Welcome to HCM, Cause of pityriasis rosea is not certain, but its clinical presentation suggest a viral infection as a cause for it. It begins with a single lesion, followed in 1 or 2 weeks by a generalized body rash lasting up to 12 weeks. But with treatment the symptoms may last few weeks. Oral antihistamines and topical steroids can be used to decrease itching. Thank you.
