Is Cramps After Period A Sign Of Hormonal Imbalance?
Hi, i'm a 33 yr old woman and I suffer from polycistic ovaries. I have irregular periods, but the last 2 ones came out normal and in a normal time frame (around 29, 30 days cycles). In these cycles I tried naturally to conceive with my boyfriend, but it didn't work, even knowing I ovulated on the second one as I spotted midcycle. My last period ended at 11/28, was a normal flow for 5 days, and the last time i've been with my boyfriend was on 12/04 as he lives abroad. Last 12/27 I started spotting brown, and it lasted for 8 days exactly. No pain or any other symptoms as a period, cramps or anything. After it ended I started having very light cramps that are following me through the day. They are similar to period pains but much lighter and don't go away. Other things are I get sometimes a bitty dizzy but nothing to worry about. Do I have an hormonal imbalance? I'm just concerned about these cramps that came right after my spotting stopped, and no sign of period at all.

See dear as per the information per the information provided by you had your intercourse almost six days after your period ended . As per the menstrual cycle it is the 11th day of the cycle . That clearly indicates that you in the ovulatory phase . Secondly you are also suffering from pcos with last two cycles that were normal .Here in this case since you had a crampy pain with spotting and dizziness 1st of all get a urinary pregnancy teat done . If that is +ve that means the spotting is due to implantation of the fertilized ovum. Otherwise please go to your doctor and get your self examined and accordingly take suitable medication
