General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Generally, the period will return to a normal rhythm in two to three months. If periods are persistently delayed, Consult a gynecologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
