How To Stop The Brown Blood After Periods?

3 months post pardom using Implanon contraceptive. I have had 2 menstrual cycles since insertion 6 weeks ago and over last 2 weeks have had brown blood primarily when I wipe. Is there a way to expell the old blood or make it stop? considered douche but I am nursing. Thanks for your thoughts.

Hi,

Implanon is a hormone laden contraceptive which is safe while breast feeding, but irregular periods and spotting brown blood is its side effect. It will reduce over the time. You have to follow gentle hygiene but douches should be avoided.
