Hi, have been experiencing back pain for about a month now. Finally could stand it no more and went to the Doctor who said my back was in spasm and prescribed stronger pain killers. Not having much effect, pain still unbearable and today my daughter pointed out quite a large dent towards the base of my spine. Never been there before, just wondering if anyone might know what it could be? Many Thanks

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
A back pain is commonly seen due to degenerative diseases of spine, infections of the spine, osteoporosis and muscular spasms. An examination by an orthopaedician along with investigations like MRI of spine is entailed for diagnosis.
