What Is The Treatment For Fever That Is Not Subsiding With Any Of The Medications?
Hello, my son 13 years old, having fever continue 13 days (today), first doctor I have visited prescribed Ampicillin 250+ cloxacillin 250 mg cap. with paracetamol 500mg for 5days, I have applied but fever not gone,
I have visited 2nd doctor who prescribed Mahacef cv 200 with Dolo 650 today is 4th day applying this medicine but fever is coming back after 12hours
Temperature raises up to 103F, blood test report for complete heamogeram (CBC) is normal (malaria/heamoparasite not detected)
Widal agglutination result is – S Typhi Antigen O
Please help me, what type of fever it is? What should I do now

I had gone through the case and I found that you did not mention other history along with fever like your chest,abdominal or urinary problem. So you need to give the history and get for proper investigation.After the correct diagnosis ,you need to take the antibiotic.Till that you take only Tablet Crocin 500 mg.Hope you are satisfied with my answer.
