What Is The Hard Bump That Is Painful To Touch On My Jaw?

I have a bump on the upper right side of my jaw one or two cm above my bicuspid. Not painful but sharp to touch. Feels like a bone. I also notice the right side of my upper jaw is a bit disfigured compared to my left side. It is more raised and has sharp bumps in it. What causes this?

A hard bump above the bicuspid that is sharp and feels like bone can be a bony tori or a bony protuberance due to over growth of bone in that area..

You need to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a clinical examination followed by an x ray of the area can help in confirming the cause and treatment can be planned accordingly..

In case if it is a bony overgrowth and it does not cause any discomfort it can be left as it is but in case if you want to get it removed it needs to be surgically removed under local anaesthesia..
